Loves

So Time goes by whether I would like it to or not... Life happens.  Sometimes I wish we could stop the clock for just a moment to absorb everything in full detail.

Here it is December... the weather has turned and Christmas is fast approaching.
Someday I'll get my pics posted and stories of our family told and caught up.  Today I thought I would be publicly thankful for the little things:


* Turning on the fireplace and cuddling up on the couch with a blanket and Leah and Joey to watch "Dora" in the mornings
* Listening to the 4 girls interact and play and sometimes fight with each other in the other room... It brings "life" and excitement into the house
*sitting in the basement and hearing the pitter patter of little Joey feet running upstairs (oh boy, what is he getting into now?)
* seeing Zack come home from work on the train, crisp with the cold, in his heavy coat and dress clothes.  but  he's HOME and glad to be there
*waking at 3 or 4 in the morning and finding Joey all snuggled up between Zack and I, fast asleep.
*spending time with Emma braiding her hair or laughing and singing with Bekah, reading and gigling with Sarah and going hug crazy with Leah.
* "Jamming out" in the kitchen with all the kids, singing to the radio

Life is not perfect... we have out struggles,  things break, get dirty, and get behind.  We fight, neglect things we shouldn't, dissapoint and disrupt.  But at the end of the day we are family, we trust in the Lord and end our day kneeling together as a family...all in all, it's pretty great!
